I assist Dr. Pershad with many aspects of our patients’ treatment, and work each day to give patients a wonderful orthodontic experience. My favourite part of working here is seeing each beautiful smile at the end of treatment. Dr. Pershad has created a fun atmosphere, and I truly enjoy coming into the office each day. My free time is spent figure skating and hiking.

I assist with chairside procedures, such as placing braces, appliances, and retainers under the direction of Dr. Pershad. I love helping our patients achieve a beautiful smile, but more importantly, I want them to have a good time while in the office. Each person is unique, and I try to get to know each patient on a personal level. I enjoy spending time outside the office with my family, which includes my husband, daughter, two dogs, a cat, and a stonefish. I also enjoy skiing, volleyball, yoga, and boot camp.

Treatment Coordinator
I work with new patients at their initial appointment consultation. We go over all their treatment options, and I answer any questions they have about their orthodontic treatment plan. The entire team here at Niagara Peninsula Orthodontics is great! We all connect with patients and their families on a personal level. I am one of the first people to welcome patients and families into our office. At the front desk, I assist with scheduling and try to make appointments as convenient as possible in our patients’ lives. I enjoy chatting with our patients and families, and joking around with the children. It makes for a lively, fun office atmosphere that we all enjoy. I got married in December of 2012 and have two cats and three birds. In my spare time I enjoy going on hikes and doing photography.

In that time, I’ve met a lot of new people, but the best thing is seeing the second generation of patients come in to get a great smile. My dental career began in 1972 and I was happy to join Niagara Peninsula Orthodontics more than ten years ago. I work with many of our new patients, getting them started with orthodontic treatment by taking their X-rays, impressions, and photos. Ours is an office full of fun, and we all love to see our patients’ smiles! In my spare time I like to refinish and reupholster furniture. I also like to babysit my new granddaughter!

I am a certified level II dental assistant with 20 years of experience in orthodontics, but here at Niagara Peninsula Orthodontics, I am responsible for leading our team to be as efficient as possible. I organize all systems so that our patient/parent experience is one of the best! I enjoy working with all our patients alongside such a great team! My free time is happily spent with my family, especially my two special little granddaughters. I have two dogs, Roxy and Sophie, who are my fur babies. When I find quiet time, I enjoy reading a good book.

I am responsible for creating all the orthodontic appliances that have been prescribed by Dr. Pershad. The best part of my job is that I can be very creative as part artist, part scientist, and sometimes part magician! I love working with Dr. Pershad because he is not afraid to explore new ideas and is not afraid to think outside of the box. He is fun and driven to constantly improve for the betterment for patient care and for our office. When I’m not at work, I enjoy fishing, gardening, hiking, and learning about new technology.
